Qld: Man survives 30 metre fall
A 51-year-old man has survived a 30-metre fall from a walking track on Mount Barney
in south-east Queensland, near the border with New South Wales.
Queensland police say the Brisbane man slipped off the track late yesterday afternoon
and suffered a broken arm, broken leg and suspected internal injuries.
The man has been taken to Gold Coast Hospital by the Care Flight helicopter.
